ChapCare believes that behavioral health services have a positive impact on the quality of our patient’s lives and their families. Mental health disorders can not only affect the patient’s primary care and disease prevention, but can also affect other areas of their life (i.e. job, school, relationships, etc.), which support enhanced mental health. In our integrated behavioral health program, behavioral health specialists work with our primary care providers as a team to treat the mental and physical health needs of their patients. Our interventions are tailored to our setting and community with the goal of providing comprehensive care.
ChapCare also believes that substance use services can improve the quality of our patient’s lives and their families. In our integrated substance use program, the substance use specialist addresses both mental health disorders and substance use disorders and works with our primary care providers as a team to treat the overall health needs of their patients.
ChapCare accepts Medi-Cal and most insurance plans. If you do not have insurance, please bring identification, proof of Los Angeles County residence, and proof of income to your first visit. You may be eligible for a Sliding Fee Discount, which can help reduce the amount that you are responsible for paying.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ChapCare has temporarily changed the way it delivers services to help reduce the spread of the virus. These changes have been made to protect our patients, our employees, and our community.
